  • PAD is operational in one centrally located neighborhood of the city

  • Renewed investment through the city's opioid settlement funds provides opportunities for expansion 

  • Allows for three diversion pathways:

    • On-scene arrest diversion​

    • After hours referal with next-day follow-up

    • Social referrals independent of arrest

  • Places emphasis on linkage to care and reducing repeated police contact
